American Red Cross – Providing immediate assistance to families after disasters, teaches lifesaving skills through CPR, First Aid, disaster safety, and HIV prevention education; links military families through emergency communication.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, Claremore – Re-creating the extended family for children in need.  Provides caring adult mentors for children between the ages of 6 and 16 who come from single parent families or other at-risk situations.

Inola Senior Citizens Center – Serving citizens 55 years of age and older, this agency serves seniors in the area 12 month a year, 5 days each week, and provides lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  They offer Triad eye services, speakers on Social Security matters, trust funds, long-term health care, new Medicare and pharmacy cards, as well as an occasional visit by a nurse to do wellness checkups.  Delivers meals Tuesdays and Thursdays to disabled, home bound or convalescent Inola residents.

Operation Aware – To empower children and teens to make positive decisions and healthy choices in their lives by resisting drugs, alcohol, tobacco and violence.  These eight-week programs are offered for students in pre-kindergarten through 10th grade in Rogers County schools.

Rogers County Adult Day Care – Provides respite services to frail elderly and developmentally disable young adults in a safe and therapeutic environment that monitors health conditions, offers stimulating activities, and maintains well-being.  Financial assistance and transportation available.

Safenet Services, Inc. – Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Intervention Agency, providing domestic abuse shelter, 24-hour Crisis Line, parenting classes, victims counseling, batterer’s treatment, advocacy, protective order office, supervised visitation and exchanges.  Also operates the Second Impression Resale Boutique and Outlet.

Salvation Army – Rogers County Service Unit responds to people in crisis.  Provides emergency assistance to Rogers County residents, collaborates with other programs throughout the communities and sponsors activity for youth.

Tri-County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) – Trains volunteers to represent abused and neglected children in the court system.

William W. Barnes Children’s Advocacy Center – This agency is a community-based effort to reduce the trauma of child abuse, serving the families and children of Rogers, Mayes, and Craig counties.  The center furnishes a child-friendly environment for coordinated investigation, intervention, treatment, education and support services.  By reducing the number of interviews a child must undergo and coordinating the activities of various professionals involved in treatment, the healing process is promoted, trauma is reduced, and investigations improved.

Senior Companions – Serve one-on-one with the frail elderly and other homebound persons who have difficulty completing everyday tasks such as grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, provide short periods of relief to primary caregivers and help with many other household tasks.
